This year was a little sad as the boys were too old (in Trenton and Avery's case) and getting close to too old (Brayden) for most of the activities. And they are still to small (and innocent) for the scarier or teen oriented parts of the holiday. It is an interesting time in our family development to try to reframe what we've always done in light of how big everyone is getting. A Halloween at home was as fun as ever. Here are some pictures of what we did:
Chris dressed as James from Slipknot
Brayden went as a Zombie Gladiator - he's been this for three years and his costume was so short and beat up that at the end of the night we tossed it in the trash.
Rainbow (Brayden's Unicorn) dressed as a princess. He made her a magic book with my Bind-It-All and decorated her hat with die cuts he made using my Cricut. Isn't she adorable!
I made mummy calzone for dinner.
Chris and Brayden carved a pumpkin while I roasted the seeds Yum!
And here are the boys candy houses:
Wow, great pics! The mummy looks yummy!
