Hey everyone :-)
Things are still pretty pathetic on the moving around front but I'm doing all I can to stabilize the situation as quickly as possible. Of the changes made, doing some gentle exercise and stretches at the height of my medication seems to be helping restore my strength the most. I'm back off of wheat and am on the more rigorous version of my diet again.
My disagreeable hands continue to be too trembly to make anything as nuanced as a card but I did attempt a simple LO and it came out well enough. The journalling was the hardest part and it's barely legible - but that too is part of the story.
Hope you are having a glorious Friday. We've had three straight days of snow. The amount is such that we have to shovel several times a day to keep ahead of it. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm so most likely it'll melt again.
We also found an acceptable church. This weekend they are having a New Members class. We are going to attend as it'll be a great way to discover if we're a good fit theologically before we invest a lot of time.
The layout is wonderful. I'll say hello to the bridge for you when we are at California Adventure next week.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have found a church home. I hope everything works out for you. We are still searching for a church. It can be tough sometimes.
Take care.
Wow for someone with an unsteady hand, you did a great job. Your sons look very handsome in their new hair cuts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new church. See you over at TSR.
I am tired of snow. We had 65 here today maybe 70. I don't think we are going to get hit with anymore snow until Fall.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon. We luckily didn't get ill this winter. Knock on wood. I a day here and there where I felt like crap, but no real sicklies.
I hope you like the church you found. We love our church (DH and I) It makes a huge difference to want to go and like it.
Have a great weekend.
nicole, that layout is just fantastic!!! I love your photos, as always :).
ReplyDeleteThe layout looks wonderful. Your shaky handwriting makes mine look like chicken scratch!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! I can't believe you did this not feeling well.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Mary
Wow...sometimes mine don't look this good and I'm in perfect health! Praying for a quick return to health, my friend!
