Abstract Watercolor Flowers: Kid Craft

On Pinterest, I kept seeing pictures of this wonderful craft and we decided to take a crack at it. HERE are the directions from Bloesem Kids, all you do is wet watercolor paper, drop on watercolor paint, watch it spread, let it dry and then define the flowers with india ink, applied with a skewer.

Since two of my kids are art-phobic, I thought it would be a good low-stress project.

It was a huge success and Brayden, my artist, spent days making gardens of flowers.

I think this one might be fun to cut up into ATCs or strips to embellish AJ pages. I love using my own colorful attempts as embellishments or backgrounds.
