Fairy Art Mother- Mixed-Media Painting

I'm taking Life Book this year and our first project was to make a Fairy Art Mother who will encourage you and love your art unconditionally.

So of course mine turned out looking judgmental and mildly disapproving... I'm not at all surprised.

Her wings are SUPER iridescent as I colored them with sprays but the lighting and the photographer didn't cooperate - fyi, I'm the photographer.

At the end of the year we're binding our projects into an art journal. It's very strange to me to 'art journal' outside of my art journal. YKWIM?

I love the look on her face! Like, "Oh, so you made this. Huh." When she gets psyched about something, you'll know it's for real! :D

She is a sweet one, I love her dainty crown. I made myself a second one today.....just to have two happy faces giving me a boost. xox

I really like your fairy art girl. She's protecting your art, that's why she looks a little stern, just in case you think you should stop!

I like the idea of a fairy art mother. Hopefully she comes around waves her wand and drops off new art supplies? Preferably they don't disappear by Midnight.
