Last night I got a large order of mixed cardstock in the mail. It was awesome except for the bright yellow, purple, mauve and bubblegum pink - colors I hate. Last night I couldn't sleep so I tried to brainstorm ways to use purple that wouldn't make me want to up-chuck. Then I remembered that my MIL has sent me a variety of purple quilt scraps and that I needed to make my
2sketches4you card. So here it is:
I had a really good time sewing a fabric flower and didn't mind using purple for the first time ever. I am even assembling my scraps into a scrapbook page.

Great job on the sketch - love the colour combo and that flower is scrummy - I too am not a fan of purple but I like when it is used with lime...as you have done

I totally get the color 'challenge' thing with purple. This is EXACTLY how I feel about orange. I hate orange.
